Everything you need to know
The NGS PVS-14 night vision monocular is the most versatile night vision device you can own. Hand-assembled, nitrogen-purged and tested in our lab in Slovakia, it works handheld, on a helmet or on a head mount – for search and rescue, security work, navigation, training and airsoft or MILSIM nights.
Choose your tube
Every PVS-14 is built to your configuration. Pick the image intensifier tube in the configurator above:
- NNVT Gen2+ autogated – FOM 1400+, 1600+ or 1900+.
- Photonis ECHO / ECHO+ (made in the EU) – FOM 1800+ or 2200+, quoted on request.
The FOM value is a guaranteed minimum – your tube can be higher. You receive the tube datasheet with every device. Like all image intensifier tubes, a tube may show small cosmetic spots; we always select the cleanest tube available for your build. Green or white phosphor? Use the colour switch at the top of the page.
Optics and manual gain
Two optics options are available: NGS LWT MIL-SPEC (included) with high light transmission and low image distortion, or RPO 4.0 (made in the USA) with a larger exit pupil, better eye relief and lower weight. Manual gain is an optional upgrade: it lets you set the brightness yourself, which helps both in brighter conditions and in very dark ones.
Mounting
To wear the PVS-14 on your head you need a J-arm (attaches to the device) and a helmet mount. The mount fits a helmet shroud or a head strap. For thermal detection at night, pair it with the JerryC PRO clip-on thermal imager.

Is night vision legal for civilian use?
Yes – the devices in our online store are civilian products sold legally in the EU. Rules for using night vision (for example for hunting) differ between countries, so please check your local regulations. Devices for military and law enforcement are supplied only B2B / B2G through tenders.
Which tube and optics should I choose?
It depends on how and where you will use the device. Higher FOM means a cleaner, sharper image in very low light. If you are unsure, call or e-mail us – a technician will recommend the configuration that fits your use and budget.
How fast will I get my order?
The availability is shown next to the price. We ship from Slovakia across the EU with Packeta and GLS, and you receive tracking as soon as your parcel is on its way. Orders from 1 000 € get free or reduced shipping.
Can I try the device before buying?
Yes. Book a visit to our showroom in Topoľčany (by appointment) and test devices in real darkness. See “Try before you buy”.
What does the warranty cover and how do I claim it?
Every product comes with a 24-month guarantee. Contact us, send or bring the device to our showroom, and we will inspect and repair or replace it. Details are in our return & complaints policy.
Can I return the product?
Consumers can return products within 14 days without giving a reason, in line with EU law. See our return policy and return form.
